These days are sacred. I started writing ((HEAR)), My Dear in 2008. Then, It was supposed to be a free EP for I only had about 6 usable tracks. The project has grown into much more, my second full-length LP in under 6 months! Peep the fresh...

Originally, I wanted this album to speak to the lovers of hip-hop, a group I find myself in. I wanted to display how the plastic music is destroying what we hold dear to our hearts. As I got deeper into it, the project became much more meaningful. It evolved into a loosely connected letter to the lady of my dreams; music. E is calling it quits with this rap shit(against my wishes), but that is the nature of music. The motivation that once drives you to create music sometimes burns out if not nurtured positively. I still think my dude is better than half these cats in the Richmond scene (yea, you). But enough of that, it's a celebration bitches. Y'all tip the hats for my friend as he gives us his last joints. Featuring production from Ohbliv., Just Plain Ant and myself amongst others(I even got a verse on this piece!). I'll let my dood take it from here...

So I have been out of the music loop here for a while. There once was a time when that was really all that I did. During that time I was working on a solo album titled "Bonus Life" that almost got released, but I pulled it at the last second.

Since then I have only made 4 songs (in the same week) and that was nearly a year and a half ago. So I came up with this idea that would get all of my unused songs released. Make a compilation. By doing this, I will have no more material sitting on my computer thus making me want to start a new album even less:( lol

But this is it all music that was never heard from "Bonus Life" and "Last Throes". All 19 songs. I hope you guys enjoy it and watch out there are songs on here that might catch you off guard.

Music: Sleaze - Summer Fresh

This is a joyous moment for me. I just dropped my debut album on Just Plain Sounds and I'm posting to give you a lil' insight on the project. Summer Fresh is my ode to summer, done the right way. 12 tracks of heat. I produced most of the joints with assists from Just Plain Ant & Charlie Hilton, two of the best underground producers out right now (IMO!).

I started creating this off a hunch. It's nothing really major... No overdrawn concepts. Just me and a mic. I wanted to use most of these beats on a sampler project, sorta like a beat tape. But I just felt like I needed to rhyme and let people hear where I was coming from. Most of the songs remind me of lazy days or off-the-hook nights we experience in this crazy City of Richmond. I had two weeks off from school so I said what the hell and just dropped the joint. Recorded in my house, raw as fuck, all soul. I mean, we used to fuck around and record vocals through the headphones on to tapes and just pass the lil' tapes around like we was sweet. I'm trying to bring that fun back. That spontaneity. That love. We was kids, happy as fuck that we could do something we liked. It didn't hurt anyone. And it was honest. Hate it or love it, Summer Fresh is here. Let the music speak. Enjoy the rest of the summer....I got a b-day coming up!
