The Ten Thousand Rupees Mix!!

Ok...so my latest mixtape The Ocarina of Rhyme is doing pretty damn well. I uploaded on March 17 and it is about 500 d'loads away from 10,000!! WOW right? So I decided to give the people another taste of Sleaze's Hyrule, with a new mixtape called Sleaze's Awakening; The Ten Thousand Rupees Mix. This project features mostly instrumentals that didn't make the first cut, a remix or two, and a few new tracks.
THE CATCH: I'm not uploading this collection until my downloads reach 10,000, so if you like what I'm saying get your friends, family, coworkers and associates involved and get them to download The Ocarina of Rhyme!! Let's get it!!

Sleaze - The Ocarina Of Rhyme Mixtape
Game Review OF Yore...OoT

Back in '98 when this joint dropped on the N64, heads were shook. It was by far the best game ever created! Many games since have assumed to that title but lets take a look at why Ocarina of Time will always be the real deal!
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
IGN64 reviews the biggest game of the decade. Does Zelda 64 live up to the hype?
by Peer Schneider
November 25, 1998 - The new benchmark for interactive entertainment has arrived. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the fifth official installment in Nintendo's popular action-RPG series is finally here, and like its NES predecessor in 1987 it is a game so enjoyable, it has the power to pull videogame players into its imaginative worlds -- and refuse to let go for days. Call us crazy, but when the final version of Zelda 64 arrived in the IGN64 offices, we stopped working, locked ourselves into a room with a big-screen TV and a surround system and played 17 hours straight. After only a few hours of sleep, we were back for more and we couldn't stop until we finished the game. Then, we started over again to find all the secrets.
Rarely is there such a perfect mixture of graphics, sound, and gameplay that even the most cynical players will admit that Zelda 64 is poised to shape the action RPG genre for years to come.... Read more here...

The Ocarina of Rhyme in 10 Days!!

Wsup friends?! Yep, you guessed it. Ocarina of Rhyme time...Just ten days until I release my first mixtape in over 5 years! It pays excellent homage to the master conductors over at Nintendo, and the one & only Link. On the mixtape, I talk about all issues including: the current state of hip-hop, growing up hard, and remaining fresh in a world full of negativity and boredom. The central themes of this mixtape circulate around the imaginary life of Link and the parallels we share. Check the official tracklist below!
1. Intro
2. Theme Song
3. A Link To The Past
4. The Legend Of Sleaze
5. Goron Interlude
6. Potions
7. Ocarina Funk (Inst.)
8. Belly Interlude
9. The Treasure
10. The Battles
11. Sweet Victory
12. Garo
13. Code Link

The Ocarina of Rhyme
hey folks. It's Sleaze dropping more jewels. More gems. Here to introduce my next project.
As the title suggests, it will be dedicated to the best game ever created; Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. As if it is possible, I really identify with the green guy. You know, being that he isn't real. But that game came out in a time where things weren't so great in my home, so it was an excellent form of escapism. Nothing like slicing up imaginary villains instead of ice-picking the parents...anywho.
All that said, the most fascinating aspect of the game was the extraordinary score attached to it. the music was bananas! I remember being more interested in the damn tracks than beating the effing thing. Needless to say, I beat the thing(albeit, a few years later on a new console to boot), but the music never left my mind.
Cut to 2008 - I started playing the game again and the old memories hit me like a mack truck. I know I had to use these songs to tell my own story. The same way they helped tell the story of Link.
So that's the initial breakdown. I'll have more info for you as the story develops...
PEACE TWO SCOOTERS!
UPDATE!!!
The mixtape is done and doing well on the d'ls. I hope everyone enjoys it and if you need a copy, click here. Ketchup, plz.
